While Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake are connected at the hip (well, literally at the neck), Lake Barkley boasts as the "quieter" lake between the two. With less boat traffic, yet comparative in size, Barkley is a great place to go fishing, take the family out on a pontoon, or just relax in one of the many bays. There are several marinas to fill up and grab snacks with some having restaurants featuring live entertainment during the season. With Barkley's 58,000 acres of water and 1,004 miles of shoreline, there's plenty of space to have fun or just chill with the fam.
